Gluten Free Honey Hot Wings

Too hot here to even go outside and BBQ! So we stayed inside and made our favorite wings. These awesome gluten free wings are sticky sweet and spicy. Finger licking happiness that's easy enough for the newest cook or hubby to make. 

Gluten Free Honey Hot Wings

Ingredients:
  • 5 pounds chicken wings, fresh or frozen and defrosted
  • 1 cup local honey
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Gluten Free hot sauce or more to taste-we like them medium (I like Tapatio hot sauce)
  • salt and pepper 
Instructions:
  1. Wash the wings and pat dry with paper towel. 
  2. Season with a little salt and pepper. 
  3. Bake at 350 degrees on a large cookie sheet for 15 minutes. Drain grease from pan.
  4. In a large bowl and mix in the honey, hot sauce and melted butter. 
  5. Pour the sauce over wings and toss to coat. 
  6. Bake at for 15 minutes longer or until brown and sticky and the wings are done.  
  7. Serve with a green salad of Romaine, sweet grape tomatoes and feta with a light Italian dressing.
