Sugar free August Challenge! and my 6 month Anniversary!

I can't believe it's been 6 months since I started my blog!!  How time flies!  All the cooking and baking, trying to learn how to blog, take pictures, reading thousands of recipes and blogs every day, it's been an amazing journey.

I'm very thankful to all the fabulous experienced bloggers that I've met along the way, who have been so generous and featured my recipes on their sites!    Linda, the Gluten-Free Homemaker and Amy at Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free.  Thank you ladies!!  You and many others have made blogging so much fun.

What I've learned this year, when I was frustrated, or recipes fail, and people don't comment, so you feel like you're blogging all alone, is.. Don't give up!   Blogging is hard but rewarding! Gluten Free cooking, baking and living can be challenging, but our health is more important than anything else.  Editing, computer programs and photography are crazy hard, especially when you're a Grandma!! but it's worth all the hair pulling effort to be part of a community of smart motivated women who are helping others and making a difference with their lives.

So a BIG Thank you to all of my new blogger friends  for your kindness and support.  And a big hug and thanks to everyone who visits my blog and to my wonderful friends who joined on Google or Facebook.  I love you all!  hugs,  Ali

In August I'm joining Linda and going Sugar Free!  Hope you'll come along!  I will be posting what I'm eating and new sugar free treats as we go!
