|Spicy Lime BBQ Marinade, gluten free|
The weather is heating up and it's time to BBQ! This marinade tenderizes and gives meat a fresh spicy flavor that's perfect for any meal. We especially like it for flank steak and fajitas. Here's how easy it is to make...
- 2 cups lime juice
- 1 4.5 ounce can green chilies or jalapenos
- 4 cloves garlic, mashed
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 pounds meat of choice, like flank steak, top sirloin, chicken or pork. Vegetables we like to grill are zucchini, eggplant, green peppers, cauliflower and asparagus.
- In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Pour into a gallon zip lock bag. Or double the recipe, split into two bags and marinate meat in one and veggies in another.
- Add meat or veggies to bag and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Cook on grill until done. Discard marinade.
