Incredible Homemade Teriyaki Sauce, gluten free

I could eat it out of the jar with a spoon!
Thanks to my favorite Gluten-Free Tamari sauce from +San-J you can make incredible Teriyaki sauce at home for a fraction of the cost of store bought.  I double this recipe and keep it in the fridge for fast dinners. It will thicken even more in the fridge.  It's absolutely scrumptious on stir fry or use as a marinade!

Sugar Free & Gluten Free Hot Fudge Frozen Yogurt Sundae, low carb

Do you love Hot Fudge Sundaes? So does my family but we didn't want the sugar!  Now we're loving these healthy sugar-free and gluten-free sundaes and we can have them whenever we want!

For many years I tried to make us "healthy" sundaes with sugar-free ice cream and the sugar-free Hershey's syrup. I cringe when I think about the junk and chemicals that I fed my family, thinking that they were a healthier alternative to the higher calorie foods.

Homemade Sugar Free & Gluten Free Hot Fudge Yogurt Sundae

As I started reading labels and studying recipes, I learned more about what sugar, artificial sweeteners and GMO's do to our bodies. I now know how unhealthy our late night snack truly was. I also drank diet pop for many years and have given that up too. That was a tough one!

Gluten Free Baked Meatballs with Sauce Recipes

Making meatballs is one of my favorite time savers.  I make double batches and hold out some for sandwiches, appetizers or freeze portions for other dinners during the month. We love them in Spaghetti and meatballs with my favorite Red Sauce, with my Homemade gluten free Cream of Mushroom sauce, or for a fast dinner I stir them into soups!

Gluten Free Chicken & Broccoli Mornay

I'm working on some frugal kid friendly casseroles for my volunteer work and one of my readers asked me to share this one. It's an old classic that I remade to be healthier and gluten free. I'd forgotten how good it is! Instead of the original condensed soup you just make a simple roux, add milk to make a Bechamel and cheese to create a gorgeous Mornay sauce.  It's very easy to do.  Moms will love that it has no additives and preservatives and only costs about $1.25 a serving.  Kids will just love that it tastes great!

Chicken Fettuccine in Garlic Cream Sauce recipe, gluten free

On days when I feel like an easy dish, like the picture below, I whip up a garlic Bechamel sauce, stir in some Parmesan, toss in any gluten free noodles I have on hand and it's heaven. When I want a dinner for company I make Chicken Fettuccine in Garlic Cream Sauce. It's so good!
Nothing in the world makes me happier than gluten free pasta...I'm pretty sure I was Italian in a former life!

Gluten Free Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, GF, DF, SF, grain free option

Here's my favorite breakfast of all time. Being gluten free doesn't mean you have to give up your old favorite recipes, you just need to adapt them a bit, but wonder if you are wanting to make them low carb and dairy free too?  That's a little more of a challenge, but they turned out great!

Normally I make sausage gravy with milk and our Favorite Low Carb Biscuits, or I in the past I used my Hamburger buns like you see in the picture above when I have them on hand. (of course they're not low carb, but really good too)

This time I tried making the gravy with coconut milk. I had a coupon and decided to try using So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk. It has a nice mild flavor and is fairly thick.  I loved it! The addition of the herbs helps mask any slight coconut flavor too.

Gorgeous Gluten Free Bechamel Sauce (White Sauce)

Nothing is more versatile in your dishes than a great Bechamel Sauce!  And it's easy to make!
Yes, you can make a great Gluten Free White Sauce!   And you would never know it's gluten free.

Easy Gluten Free Homemade Mushroom Soup or Sauce Recipe

I bought a ton of mushrooms on sale last week so I decided to make Gluten Free Cream Of Mushroom Soup.  I miss my old Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup, but homemade is amazing! Paired with a salad and a small glass of wine it's a wonderful healthy and Skinny meal.

You need a lot of mushrooms, washed and sliced, some good herbs and spices, butter and milk.  It's that easy!
